Help Save Kira's Life

A letter from Kira’s mother:

“Kira is a long-awaited child. I waited for her for 10 years. But a grief came to our family, at the age of 2,5 months my daughter Kira received a heartbreaking diagnosis - biliary atresia, developing liver cirrhosis. 

At the age of 3,5 months Kira underwent a Kasai operation (Kasai portoenterostomy) in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. Unfortunately the operation was not successful. The condition of my daughter got worse. 

We have lost a lot of valuable time and Kira was already 9 months old when we finally met Dr. Kurilo in Lviv, Ukraine. 
Taking into consideration Kira’s low weight and unstable condition Dr. Kurilo contacted Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Belgium who agreed to admit us. 

Now after all that my daughter has gone through, the liver transplantation surgery is waiting for her. Without the transplant she will not live. 

Kira has an older brother who is 12 years old. I am a single mother and raising both children alone. 
There is no way we can do this without your help!”

Any day can become the last one for baby Kira. Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Belgium is ready to operate her as soon as possible.

Письмо от мамы: "Кирочка долгожданный ребенок. Я ее ждала 10 лет. Но в нашу семью пришло горе, нам поставили страшный диагноз в возрасте 2,5 месяца:  Атрезия Желчевыводящих путей. Формирующийся цирроз печени. В 3,5 месяца была проведена операция по Касаи в Днепропетровске. Но хирургия не дала результаты. Состояние моей доченьки продолжало ухудшаться.  Мы попали во Львов к замечательному врачу Галине Васильевне, но, к сожалению, время уже упущено. Кирюше уже 9 месяцев. И теперь после всего что перенесла моя малышка, впереди ее ждёт трансплантация. Без пересадки печени мою девочку ожидает смерть. Учитывая состояние, маленький вес и нестабильность, врач обратилась в клинику Сент Люк, Бельгия с просьбой принять доченьку как только это будет возможно. 
У Кирочки есть старший братик. Я воспитываю обоих деток одна. Без вас нам не справиться! "

Сбор средств на операцию ведет Бельгийское Благотворительное Общество Ренессанс, Бельгия. Все собранные на этом портале деньги пойдут на оплату лечения Киры.
