Fire Fundraiser: Heating Up Support for a Family in Need

During times of crisis, it is heartwarming to see communities come together to support those in need. In the case of my good friends Kimmy and Sheldon, an unexpected house fire as left them with severe damages to their home and vehicle, in addition to personal injury.

You may know Kimmy from her business Whitehorse Woof and from seeing her smiling face around town at all the markets and craft sales!

Sheldon is the main money earner for their family of 3, plus they support Kimmy's dad who lives with them as well.

Their insurance unfortunately will not cover the truck to be replaced, and Sheldon suffered severe burns on his arm and face, causing him to reduce his hours of work.

I know we have a wonderful community here in The Yukon and if you can spare any amount to help them cover the lost wages & cost to replace their truck it will all add up.
