Help Save Ilyssa's Apartment

As with so many people, COVID19 has affected the life of a friend of mine. She lost her full time job (and insurance) and has turned to 1099/Contracting/Delivery work to supplement income. She has managed to make everything work on her own despite being thrown unexpected car repair bills (over $2000 in the last 2 months) due to negligence from the previous owner - he did not tell her about so many of the cars issues.

However, she has just found out that her roommate has tested positive for COVID19, and she is awaiting her test results as well. As a result, she cannot continue to do her delivery work, and has put every penny that she has into her car - leaving her unable to afford rent at the end of the month. She had planned on driving deliveries every day in order to pay it - as she has been doing for the past 5 months - but the positive COVID test result has put a damper in her plans.

Ilyssa is a proud, proud woman - who is used to taking care of herself and others around her. Unfortunately, she needs our help now. If you are in a position to be able to help another, please consider making a donation to Ilyssa. Anything will help so that she can get through this month, stick to the quarantine safety precautions, and keep her apartment and roof over her head. The funds will go directly to rent and food - and is the amount that she is likely to lose over the rest of this month from not being able to work.
