Help save Ilka's life

My small dog Ilka who was being walked and on a leash was attacked by a vicious unleashed larger dog.
Ilka is now suffering from extensive injuries as a result of the brutal attack. He is in need of surgery to survive and repair the damage. Ilka is at VCA Veterinary hospital in San Leandro. They will first do exploratory surgery to see if they can restore his lower jaw. If he does not get this surgery, he will die as a result of not being able to eat or drink.
Ilka is a very smart and sweet, adorable little dog. We are desperate to save his life, but due to lack of funds, we cannot afford the surgery.
If you can find it in your heart to donate for his surgery, we will be forever grateful. The operation will cost around 8 thousand dollars. So far we have only 2 thousand dollars towards the payment. Contact information and a way to donate will be listed below.
We have contacted the police to have the vicious dog picked up so he will not harm any other creatures. Sadly the irresponsible owner of the attack dog is unable to pay and of questionable behavior and that is probably why that dog acted in such a violent way.
Ilka doesn’t deserve such a fate. Such a lovely, friendly little dog is always full of life and eager to please. It breaks our heart to see him torn apart and helpless and we wish we could afford this surgery.
