Help save Iksha's eyesight

Iksha is only 1.5 years old and she is facing the risk of losing her eyes. Help us raise funds to give her the specialist surgery needed to stabilise her eyes and keep her vision! This little girl has such a zest for life and her resilience is truly inspirational. She already has significantly reduced vision but this doesn’t stop her having fun and living life to the fullest. However, losing both her eyes would definitely put a dent in her world and make it hard for her to find a new home in the future. Iksha came to us with luxating lenses and although we were hoping that over the counter medication would keep her eyes stable, she has developed glaucoma. Removal of her displaced lenses will allow her eyes to function more normally. She is so young and playful, she truly deserves the chance to keep what eyesight she currently has as the only other option will be to completely remove her eyes. She has been doing so well in foster care – she was scared and terrified at first but now has come out of her shell, made friends with all the resident animals and bonded with her carers. She was almost ready to find her new home when she had this set back. We want to help Iksha have the best life possible but need your help to make it happen!
