Help Save Hondo and Brodie

Lori Alford has saved the lives of so many dogs and cats. And now she needs your help to save Hondo and Brodie. They were bit by a rattle snake multiple times and have been in the emergency vet since Monday night. Initiall they the vet didn't think Hondo would make it but now Brodie is more critical. The swelling of his head has increased and this morning was given a fifth vile of antivenin.  His blood count was also at 22 and normal is 45, so they gave him a unit of blood. As of tonight the vet bill is $9360 and Lori doesn't want to give up on Brodie and his organs have not started shutting down.

Brodie was rescued from Bastrop Animal Shelter five years ago when Don Wortham sent Lori a message with his picture and said she needed to come look at this dog.  Brodie was very shut down and terrified.

She went to the shelter and they had an immediate bond. From that day on, he has been Lori's best buddy.  He sleeps right next to her in bed,  if she's on the couch, Lori is his pillow.  He is never far away from her and sleeps on a bed in her office when she's working. He is a foster kitten whisperer.  He lets them crawl all over him and grooms them endlessly.

Please help save Brodie and Hondo.
