Help Save Hillside Recording Studio

Hillside Recorders, was a top-notch recording studio built in the city of Hayward, CA in the 1970s. Many artists have recorded here and many famous jingles were also recorded here back in the early days.
Hillside Recorders provides many services to a lot of up-and-coming bands in the San Francisco East Bay Area. We also do a lot of charitable events for little-to-no cost.
We don't make much money at this studio and with the board being down, we can no longer record.
We have the original Neotek board that the studio came with and have discovered that it needs a lot of work to get it operational again. There are other pieces of original equipment that require servicing and repairs.
Over the years, the studio had fallen into a state of disrepair. We've recently taken possession of this studio with the hopes of making the necessary renovations, improvements and bringing it back to its former glory. They don't build studios like this one anymore.
Acquiring the studio came with many unforseen and unexpected expenses. Several of our good musician friends have pitched in to try to help us make this studio functional again. We have worked very hard to try to get this studio back on its feet. This is really a labor of love but we've finally exhausted all of our resources.
We are hoping that our fellow musicians and music lovers would come forth and help give us a hand in repairing the Neotek board and restoring this amazing, analog studio.
We welcome all the love and support you can give us. We appreciate you very much and we will use every cent of these donations to repair, refurbish and restore this studio. Our goal is to strive to keep on providing services our musical community has come to rely upon.
