Help Save Dustin

Hello, my name is Lisa and I have a 7-week-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy named Dustin who is in need of urgent medical care to save his life. He has been at the emergency animal hospital for several days and will need to stay for several more. He came into the hospital due to pale gums, high fever and lethargy. They suspect he ingested a toxin or had an allergic anaphylactic reaction to something in his environment. His liver levels were quite high but have come down due to IV fluids and antibiotics, but his albumin is very low, which caused effusion (fluid around his lungs, chest, and organs). He was sedated and the fluids were drained but he now needs plasma and a feeding tube to correct his low albumin level. He will also need a CAT scan to check his liver when he is stable.
