Fight against animal cruelty. RIP Dennis

It is with a heavy heart that we must share the tragic news that our beloved family cat, Dennis, had to be put down as he was suffering too much from his injuries. Despite our best efforts and the incredible support of the community, it became clear that the kindest thing we could do for Dennis was to end his suffering.

Although we are devastated by the loss of our first family pet, we are determined to continue with his legacy and support the cause of animal welfare. We will now be redirecting the funds raised for Dennis' care to the RSPCA who have been an incredible support during these tragic times and also the Ginger House Cat Rescue, an organization that has saved many cat's lives, including one who was particularly close to my heart, Koji (AKA little Jim).

Dennis' story has touched the hearts of many, and we hope that his memory will live on and inspire others to stand up against animal cruelty. By supporting the Ginger House Cat Rescue, we can give other cats a chance at a happy and healthy life, just as we had hoped for Dennis.

Story:

Dennis, our loving and loyal cat, has been a cherished member of our family for years. A few days ago, he went missing from our family home, and when he returned, he was in unimaginable pain. We quickly took him to the emergency vet, who suspected that someone had thrown battery acid , boiling water or bleach at him, causing severe injuries.

Our family is devastated by this heartless act of cruelty, and we are doing everything in our power to help Dennis heal and have a chance at a happy and healthy life. Unfortunately, the private vet bills have skyrocketed into the thousands, and we are struggling to keep up with the mounting costs.

That's where you come in. We've created this GoFundMe campaign to ask for your help in saving Dennis. Your generous donations will go towards covering his critical care, including surgeries, medications, and ongoing treatments that are necessary for his recovery. Every penny we raise will go directly to Dennis' care, and any funds raised above the needed amount will be donated to Ginger House cat rescue who have saved many cat's lives including one who was particularly close to my heart, Koji.
