Help save Chad South

Hello friends...my name is Valerie and I'm starting this fundraiser for my boyfriend Chad. The unthinkable has stuck us it all began from a spider bite that Chad got in Alabama. We drive truck from the west coast to the east coast every week so that's why we were in Alabama. We got home to California and went to the doctor for antibiotics for the bite. Once back on the road we noticed Chad was starting to lose his memory...forgetting his pin number and forgetting how to fill out his log book etc things he does daily became difficult. We went back to the doctors thinking the spider bite is really affecting him. So this time we went to the hospital and that's when they discovered Chad has a brain tumor and it was the size of a plum. Kaiser hospital in Manteca immediately transferred him by ambulance to Kaiser hospital in Modesto where they did more test and MRI. By morning they transferred him again by ambulance to Kaiser hospital in Sacramento .ca. They wasted no time and he had surgery the next morning. The surgery took almost 9 hours and they surgeon told us it went so smooth and was able to get the tumor removed . We were told that Chad might lose his sight in the right eye and may possibly be paralyzed on the right side and may lose his speech. To our surprise Chad came to with his sight all his mobile abilities and could speak. We are feeling so blessed for him to have that. The tumor was sent for biopsy and came back as a glioblastoma. This type of tumor is very aggressive and cancerous. It's a high grade glioma and will continue to keep growing over and over. It's been a devastating roller coaster ride. We are strong believers and our faith is the only thing keeping us together thru this tragic time. We've witnessed God's miracles already and we continue to pray for more. Chad is recovering extremely well and I've been caring for him daily and will continue to do so. We've had to quit our jobs as of Oct 6th and have no income now. We have a rainfall of hospital bills coming in and are struggling on staying afloat. This is so hard for us to do as we've never been in a situation to have to ask before this we have always been givers. So I am reaching out to family friends if there is anything you can do it would be so greatly appreciated even helping us by spreading the word of chads fundraiser would be awesome.
