Hello Everyone, As much as I hate having to ask for help... I must. My sweet little Beatrice (aka Bea, Bea Bea, doodle bug) is fighting to overcome some health issues.
Just one short month ago I took Bea in to help out a very dear friend who needed to re-home her. I happily brought Bea into my life and have given every ounce of love and care I can offer. She is sweet, joyful, loving and an all around amazing and constant companion to me.
Less than a week ago she became very ill and was vomiting non stop. I brought Bea in to the Dr.'s and they suggested I have more conclusive tests. So we brought her to Blue Pearl where specialists and surgeons are on hand. Throughout the grueling process of finding out what was ailing her, we kept hoping for the best case scenarios. Every turn we were given the worst.
As it turns out Bea had an obstruction and needed emergency surgery.
A cost that has been already taxing on me, today was compounded with her being rushed back to the Dr.'s with unknown additional problems. They are not sure if they will need to go back into surgery and see if all her stitches are unraveling (this would be the worst case) but even in the best and least intrusive case, I am fast approaching $10,000 in medical bills.
