Help save Arianah’s heart

Donation protected
Meet 5 year old Arianah Chesley. She looks and acts like any normal 5 year old but on the inside her heart is full of holes.

Arianah was born with a common heart defect called ASD (atrial septal defect). She was simply born with a small hole in her heart.
Every year for the past five years she required tests such as echocardiograms and EKGs to monitor her heart. Our hopes were that the hole would close spontaneously as most do.

This year however her tests showed significant decline and the doctors have confirmed she now has five holes in her heart, causing the right side of her heart to become dilated sending already oxygenated blood into her lungs instead of sending the blood out into the rest of her body.

In July 2017 we were excited to learn this condition could possibly be corrected by a heart catheter closure method. To our dismay, the doctors were unable to help her since there were too many holes.

Arianah, who just started kindergarten is scheduled to have open heart surgery at Boston’s Children’s Hospital on November 17, 2017. This is the only way doctors can repair her heart.

As parents (Amy and Christopher) we want to be able to provide Arianah with the best care so she can go on to live a normal healthy life.

But it’s not free and even with insurance the costs are significant and we need your help...
