I'm Cassidy Webb, reaching out for your support in helping my mama, Sarah Webb, receive the vital rehabilitation she desperately needs. Sarah, a beloved figure known for her warmth and dedication, recently faced a life-altering event in March ’24.

Sarah is a mama of three to me, my brother Rafferty, our dog Baxter and a wife to my papa, Joe. Her passions include travelling, music, festivals, the outdoors and making quality human connections.

Her journey as a forest school leader spanning 14 years exemplifies her commitment to a love for nature and fostering a safe environment for self-expression in our community.

However, after 59 and a half years of a healthy and happy life, the onset of ‘long Covid’ brought forth unexpected mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, fatigue, and insomnia. Something research supports to be plaguing many others with long Covid worldwide.

After 5 weeks of escalated suffering and unsuccessful interactions with the health service, Sarah suffered a psychotic episode. My lovely mama tragically tried to take her own life.

This resulted in two debilitating strokes, leaving her cognitively impaired with paralysis on her left side.

Now, our sole focus is on Sarah's recovery. She has “too much love around her” and “too much to live for” – her own words. Immediate access to top-tier physical and mental rehabilitation is her best chance for significant improvement. The critical window post-stroke demands swift action, but due to healthcare constraints, we must seek partial funding ourselves.
