Help Sarah & Ryan pay for Isaac's care costs

Isaac Alan Wright is the firstborn son of Ryan and Sarah Wright, from Fremont, Nebraska. Isaac was born at 29 weeks, on May 20th, 2021.

 

He spent 85 days in the NICU at Methodist Women’s Hospital with numerous medical issues, some of which were slow intestinal motility and cerebrospinal fluid buildup on the brain.

 

He came home from the NICU on August 13rd, 2021, but had to return to the hospital on September 5th, 2021. He was admitted to the PICU at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, with symptoms and complications related to the same as above. This time, however, he has an infection in his cerebrospinal fluid and has had to have numerous different drainage and irrigation procedures, in both his head and abdominal area, to heal him.

 

The medical bills, as well as just the day-to-day care costs, are extremely challenging for Ryan and Sarah to keep up with, so this GoFundMe page was created to give people an additional easy way to contribute financially to the care costs associated with this second stay. (Which we hope will be his last.) We have become aware that Isaac's two hospital stays (the current hospitalization, as well as his NICU stay) will leave Ryan and Sarah financially responsible for $100,000 after insurance benefits are applied.
