Help Sarah and Her Child

I have created fundraisers, support networks and donation drives for more than 1000 families. This is the very first time I have created a fundraiser for my own family. I love dedicating my time and abilities to fundraising for and supporting others. I would not be doing this if our situation was not extremely urgent.

I cannot give you much information about what we are going through. What I can tell you is that 6 months ago, our situation changed. I needed to make a choice about how we would get through it. 

I am now a 24/7/365 full-time single mom whose primary income was cut off in October. I do not have local family to support us. It is just me and my beautiful littlle girl who needs my extra attention right now.

Another component of this is that my house recently flooded. It caused $20,000 worth of damages. I hope insurance will cover all but a $5000 deductible. But if the claim is denied, my family will need to deal with the entire amount to do repairs.

For reasons I cannot share, my time needs to remain focused on my daughter and getting through this.

Will you help me give my child the extra care she needs during this intense time by supporting this fundraiser financially or sharing it? If I was fundraising for another family in the same situation, I would ask if individuals wanted to sponsor recurring monthly support for 12 months to further empower that family for greater future success. I have  been and will be continuing my work with Sacramento Kindness Campaign with my 4 year old daughter by my side. But my salary is not yet funded. Every dollar raised has gone directly to each family we serve. At SKC, the goal is to also create a fund for my salary. But for now, it does not exist.
