Rebuilding Ryan: Thanksgiving Fire 2021

Donation protected
On the night of Thanksgiving 2021, Ryan woke up around 3 am to his house ablaze. He made it out of the house and was able to wake the neighbors to get everyone out successfully. Thankfully everyone is safe. He was treated at Ochsner LGMC for 2nd-degree burns on his feet and hands. Unfortunately, the house, his truck, and his sweet cat Nezie did not survive.

The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental and the house is a complete loss. Very few personal items were able to be salvaged, he will be completely starting from scratch.

As you can imagine he is devastated and all the other roller coaster of emotions that come with a tragedy like this. Losing all of your worldly possessions is fixable, the emotional wounds will be harder to heal.

If you have the ability, please consider contributing to help Ryan start over and to put this awful tragedy behind him. If you are unable to give at this time, please consider sharing to give Ryan the most support possible.

Hug your people,

Erin
