Help Ryan and Major out !

Donation protected

My name is Matthew Bishop most of you already know me and my background. I am a friend of Ryan Garza, we served in the Marine Corps together and deployed together. Ryan and I have been though a lot together, some great and some very terrible ! Ryan has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know and he’s a very selfless individual who enjoys making others happy ! Over the years Ryan has helped not only myself but many people and many veterans who have been struggling and now I/We finally have an opportunity to return that favor.

A little background about Ryan. Ryan did numerous combat tours overseas while serving in the Marine Corps. During one of his tours he was blow up and due to injuries he ended up losing his leg. Ryan has been through many struggles since then and since being medically retired from the Marine Corps and is constantly working hard to get to a better state of mind and be at peace with his struggles.

During Ryan’s journey he has had the pleasure of meeting many amazing people who have helped him along the way and have since become great friends with him. Many of you reading this are one of those individuals. Ryan recently had the honor of working with the American Valor Foundation and with the help of Mr. Kyle ( Chris Kyles father ) was able to be united with his dog Major !

Major is an amazing Belgian Malinois who Ryan loves to death ! They’re truly meant for each other and are going to be an incredible pair ! Major however has a lot of training he needs to get done to include special task training to specifically help Ryan with his needs. The end goal is to get Major locked on and certified as the best possible service dog for all of Ryan’s needs and he will get there !

I am very honored and blessed to be heading this training along with the help of a few others to get Major where he needs to be. I have helped many service members get the service dog they needed to help best fit their needs and I have been blessed to have worked along side some fantastic organizations to include Underworld Kennels and Rocky Mountain Service Dog Project who are going to be helping me directly with the training for Major. The owner and head trainer has been a long time friend and mother of a Marine herself and is absolutely excited to be apart of Majors journey.

All funds will be going to help with all the food, equipment, and training Major needs and to help lower or eliminate the costs of Ryan’s travel and stay when he comes to do training with Major both halfway through his training and at the end of his training. All extra funds will go towards helping other veterans in need of a service dog.

I can personally speak on how much these service dogs help as I have one myself and she saved my life and has become my best friend and has helped me get through many challenges along the way during the time I’ve had her and I don’t know where I’d be if It wasn’t for her. I truly believe that those who serve our communities and especially this beautiful country deserve all the help and support we can give them no matter how big or how small it may be.

I truly believe we can exceed the goal I have posted to help even more veterans but all I ask that you do is please at least share this even if you don’t donate, but if you have a spare $1, $5, $10 or more you’re willing to donate to help Ryan and Major out you will be helping out more than you could possibly imagine and forever changing both of their lives and the lives of everyone around them ! Thank you and god bless !!
