The story of Russell.
In June of 2016 Russell Todd III, also known as Russ or RCT3, noticed a suspicious lump on his neck. After multiple tests it was determined that he had cancer at the age of 28. He went through an intense surgery in August of 2016 to remove the cancer, which had spread into his jaw. All was well, so he thought. A few months after the initial surgery he discovered an ulcer in his mouth. This ulcer was determined to also be cancerous. Since then he has gone through 9 additional surgeries, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. He has had to live in Houston near MD Anderson for weeks to months at a time. What we have yet to mention, is that while all of this was going on he was recently married and had Russell Todd IV on the way. His wife, Abbie, had to take a leave of absence from work so she and the newborn could be by his side. Their families would make multiple trips back and forth to help out when they could. This as you can imagine has caused a significant financial burden on this family. He recently had yet another surgery on March 19th, which brings his total count to 11. Russ continues to fight every single day and has never once complained about any of this. He is one of the most genuine human beings that you will ever come across. He would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger. He has never once asked for help. We are asking for him.
