Help Roy get back on his two feet

The last few months have been very trying for me.  Last October I went to the ER with an infected diabetic ulcer on the bottom of my right foot.  I was told that they were going to amputate as I had already gone into sepsis.

After many hours of IV antibiotics, scans, and surgical debris, I was left with a foot cut open from top to bottom.  I was admitted to the hospital and stayed there for a month, being told every day that they still wanted to amputate. 

When I was finally released from the hospital, I spent hours each day going to treatment.  Stress, depression, and exhaustion left me with more than I could handle.

Now I am back to work full time, but I am facing eviction and have no means of getting my back rent paid in time.  I have 3 days to raise $2,468.00 or I will be taken to court and evicted.  At this point I don’t know how I will make this deadline without help.

This is the first time in my life I have asked for a handout, but at this point I don’t have any other options.  If I don’t meet my goal, at least I am happy to be alive and recovering.
