I’m reaching out today with a very heavy heart to ask for help for my best friend, Roxy.

Roxy is a 5-year-old pit mix who is usually the light of my life, but right now, she’s fighting for her life in the emergency hospital. What started as a normal day quickly turned into a nightmare when Roxy became severely ill. After rushing her to the vet, we received the news every pet owner dreads. Roxy has a life-threatening obstruction.

She is currently hospitalized and requires intensive care and surgery to remove the blockage. Without this intervention, she won’t make it home.

I’ve always done everything I can to provide for Roxy, but this emergency came out of nowhere. The estimated cost for her 24-hour emergency care, surgery, and stabilization ranges from $9,382 to $11,734.

I am not someone who usually asks for help, but I cannot give up on Roxy. She has so much life left to live and so many more tails to wag. She is currently on an IV and being monitored closely.
