Help Rottie Layla fight k9 Cancer, leg Amputation

Layla, our 7 year old Rottweiler has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer developed in her right shoulder.
The vets at Canada West have recommended immediate surgery to remove the tumour that is growing in her shoulder, as well as remove her shoulder bone, resulting in a full front right leg amputation.
Layla is an otherwise healthy, beautiful, fun- loving, caring Rottweiler.
Layla is an important part of many people's lives; she offers true love, connection, kindness and has provided so many of us with beautiful reminders to live life in the present.
She has fought through two leg surgeries as a young dog and she still demonstrates positivity, strength and resiliency with her obstacles she has faced!
Layla has a big journey ahead of her; she has to undergo a big surgery in order to remove the tumour and her right leg, but we know Layla deserves a chance to continue her life, sharing her love with others.
Fundraising costs will go directly to support Layla's surgery and rehabilitation costs, as this has been an unexpected journey of vet bills.
We have incurred costs for X-rays, blood work, CT Scan, Ultrasound and Pain management.
This goal is only to help cover the cost of surgery, not including any further rehabilitation expenses or previous diagnostic expenses.
This has been a tough time for so many people, we wish everyone the best and to please keep Layla in your thoughts!
