Dear family, friends and valued readers,
My name is Sarah and I'm fundraising for my mother Rosemary.On feb 9th our family received the devastating news after many appointments and tests it was confirmed that my mother Rosemary was battling small cell carcinoma (small cell lung cancer) she has a 10.8 x8.4x9.3cm tumour in her right lung. The tumor is invading the upper right lobe resulting in a collapsed lung and is narrowing of her superior vena cava (large vein that returns blood to your heart) sadly we were advised that surgery was not an option at this point due to the size, location and type of cancer(very aggressive)
Rosemary is a hard working mother of 3 and grandmother of 5 beautiful children (10,9,4 and 3) Rosemary is adored by her grandkids, family and friends. Rosemary has worked at value village for 25 years and her co workers and regular customers have become like family. Rosemary has been assured that she has a "whole village" rooting for her.
Rosemary will be going through an estimate of 4 intensive rounds of chemotherapy alongside radiology in hopes to kill off the cancer and to stop the spread. I am starting this go fund me to help relieve some financial burden durning these difficult times and to help cover some medical cost that wont be covered, this will allow Rosemary to focus her all on this fight with this awful disease
