Help Roots of Hope build stage classroom

Roots of Hope is a Non Goverment, Non Profit Organization in the heart of Michamvi Kae in Zanzibar. 
In August 2021 we first opened  the colorful gate of the community centre with much Joy.  We started to host courses in Acrobatics, Movement, Yoga, English and Art - painting classes.  At the community centre only the classroom for Nutrition and Cooking classes  is finsihed build. We wish to move our classes to the stage area and therfor have started  this fundraiser



We are fundraising for:

- the second floor/roofing for the stage
-  the wall of the back of the stage 
- Bulding of storgage and office rooms on the back of  the stage 

Expences :

total of 1500 USD

When do we need the funds?

We hope to complete the building of the stage by January the first 2022.

The purpose of this project is in the long run to run a sustainable, ecological, inspiring and rewarding center for children and young people on Zanzibar in Tanzania. We will facilitate and teach in various subjects within the cultural, ecological and academic. The goal is to be a complementary contribution for the local school and those who live in the local community. We want to create a place where children can unfold artistically and creatively in line with their traditions and culture. A place that strengthens their self-esteem and self-confidence. A place where you can feel a sense of belonging together in a safe and creative environment. We know how important it is for children to express themselves with colors, tones, movements, sounds and the different expressions that Zanzibar's cultural tradition is rich in.

Our Mission is connecting, educating and supporting the children and young youth through cultural, artistic and physical activities. Focusing on nursing a youth that is dynamic, active, responsible and committed in the development process. 

The vision of the organization is to be a helping tool for the children in Michamvi. We want to work as an organization that operate as a community centre and gives the children of Michamvi a free opportunity to thrive in different fields and courses. We would strive for continued improvement of health, cultural and artistic activities for the children and young youth of Michamvi We want to educate children and young youth through movement, music, training and courses. We are guided by the values of volunteerism, love for pro-action, for self-betterment, , transparency and empowerment.
