Today we delivered the following PPEs to Rochester Regional Hospital: 10,500 medical gloves, 1,700 procedure masks, 735 disposable surgical masks, 400 3M N95 masks, other 65 N95 masks, 70 KN95 masks donated from individual friends! Your donation is making difference!

We have reached our goal of $10,000 via GoFundMe, Chase QuickPay, Venmo and other channels. We will end the champaign on March 26, 2020. We will focus on procuring the essential needs for the hospital and health centers. The remaining fund will be donated to the Rochester Hospitals.

Call for Donation to Fight Covid-19 in the Greater Rochester Region

Dear friends,
With the on-going outbreak of Covid-19, there is a high demand and consequently, an extreme shortage for Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs, face masks, N95 respirators, safety goggles, and coveralls etc.) for our health care workers in the local community. When they are working to protect us, we should all be working to protect them against the potential exposure to this deadly virus. 
As the center hub of the Rochester Chinese American Community, we had helped to collect and donate 17,650 surgical masks and 135 N95 respirator masks to URMC On March 19, 2020.

The Chinese School of Rochester, part of the United Way of the Greater Rochester Area, is calling for donations to help purchase PPEs for our health care workers from overseas. We have also procured 3000 N95 face masks and it is on the way to the US and will soon be distributed to the hospitals and health centers in Rochester. Your donation is needed to help us cover the cost and shipping fees to get more supplies.
We will keep you posted on the use of donation funds, medical supply purchase and shipment information. We will also provide receipts for your tax-deductible donation.
