Help Robin fight incurable Brain cancer

Many people know Robin! Husband, father to 3 amazing children, Son, Brother, uncle, friend and so much more! Many of you also know that sadly Robin was diagnosed with a grade 2 brain tumour in 2018. From diagnosis, Robin had a successful craniotomy, to remove his 7cm (!!) tumour from his brain, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy in 2019. Regular scans showed everything was stable, and Robin carried on working and life slowly became a new normal. That was until a regular scan in April 2023 showed that his tumour was showing signs of progression. The news was a bit of a blow, but a decision was made to start a different chemotherapy to ‘nip it in the bud’ over 6 treatments. So in May 2023 this started. Fast forward 6 months and in October, end of chemo we were given the utterly devastating news that the chemo hadn’t worked and worse than that, there is a new high-grade tumour growing. Radiotherapy was planned to start immediately, but the tumour was growing too rapidly and now the only option is further surgery. So on 14th December, Robin went for another craniotomy, which was again, successful. But! The histology shows we are now dealing with an incurable, grade 4 Astrocytoma, with a prognosis of 12-18 months. So he starts chemo again, after 2 cycles he has a scan to reveal the tumour is growing back again. Robin is currently awaiting to start radiotherapy again and after this we are hoping to get to Germany for Dendritic Cell therapy- a type of immunotherapy that uses your immune system to fight cancer- this is where your help comes in- it has a hefty price tag! We are pleading for some help, to buy Robin some more time. Time to spend with his children and family. This treatment sadly will not cure his cancer but it could buy him some time and time is what we so desperately need. Any amount is so hugely appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
