My best friend, Roberta Martinoni, is giving a gift of life. She is donating a Kidney. Ro is a most generous person, but donating a Kidney? That is beyond amazing in the Big-Hearted catagory.
Ro is one of the finest people I know and this Gift of Life has considerable out of pocket expenses, including loss of work for recovery time. To top it off, she is electing to spend her vacation in a hospital bed for the love of her fellow human.
