As many of you already know, my dad Rick was in a car accident a week ago on June 29th, 2017. He is currently in Stable condition. He suffered a massive head injury, skull fracture, a broken neck which required surgery, multiple facial fractures, a broken collarbone, rib fractures, and dislocated his leg. He lost a massive amount of blood and suffered a small stroke. He was airlifted to MedicalCity Plano where he is in the trauma ICU. He is recieving the best possible care there.
He still faces many risks. He is at risk for another stroke. They believe he has a blood clot moving throughout his body, he has developed pnuemonia, etc.

We are so blessed that he is alive, he's not in a coma, he is not paralyzed, and he wont need anymore surgeries. He has no damage to any of his internal organs.
He is amazingly tough and is doing very good given his injuries and the trauma he has experienced. It is not yet known how long he will be there, what will happen when he is released, and what the cost is for his medical care both now or in the future.

Rick is a great man. He is the funny guy but he has a huge heart too. He loves people and loves his friends and family. Your support and encouragement is going to be the best medicine for him during his recovery. Rick would never ask anyone for help. Its not who he is.
Ricks road ahead is long, and very expensive. Supporting Rick with whatever you can give and help relieve the financial burden would be greatly appreciated. With financial assistance, Rick and our family can focus on his rehab and getting him healthy and strong.
All money raised will go towards getting him transferred to Oklahoma City, his hospital bills upon discharge due to no health insurance, the sudden loss of income due to the wreck which has forced changes in living arrangements. As with any serious injury, his recovery will take a lot of services. Any assistance is crucial as we develop a plan for his recovery process, his medical bills, and supplimenting the loss of income.
