Help Replace Stolen Tools Ench Garden D. Steiner
Donation protected
The Enchanted Garden @ The JFKHS Campus has been an oasis for students, staff and community members who love nature-30 years strong.
We teach about the values of composting, growing & sharing healthy food, planting flowers to attract pollinators, creating and maintaining a beautiful refuge for animals and people.
On April 12, 2021 the garden's Tool Shed and gate were broken into. The thieves took Cordless Power, batteries, tool boxes, tool cases and many hand tools. This includes: Six Cordless Drills and batteries, two Cordless Skill Saws and batteries, one Cordless Chainsaw and battery, two tool boxes, two twist bits sets, other carpentry and metal working tools. A strong Chain and Two Lock were cut as well to gain entry.
Police came, took a report and reviewed the occurrence on school cameras.
We need to replace these tools for the continual maintenance of the garden for this year and beyond.
This will be important to keep the pace of building and planting going for our school members and the neighborhood. Many volunteers and myself devote and donate many hours to this endeavor.
I would appreciate your assistance to purchase and replace the tools we need and use to build and repair the various wooden and metal structures in our beautiful garden.
Please caller email to visit us anytime!
