Help replace our bees

As many of you know we have had a rough couple of years, with the devastating loss of Joe and a terrible honey crop last year. Now, to top things off we have experienced some of our worst winter losses ever. We have lost over 90% of our hives due to disease. We will have to purchase bees to recuperate from this loss. To replace even a third (50) of our hives we are looking at about $15 000, something that is really not feasible for us without some support at this time. We never thought we would have to do this, but in order to rebuild our stock and have producing hives this year we are going to need help. While we hate to ask for help, we find it may be the only way for us to keep Coal Lake Honey Farm afloat this year.  We know that the past year has been anything but easy on everyone so we completely understand if you are unable to help us!
