Replace Destroyed Dome At Castlebar Tennis Club

We are reaching out with a heartfelt appeal for your support. In the past few days, our beloved Castlebar Tennis Club Dome, a hub for indoor tennis and community activities, was tragically demolished due to severe storm damage. This dome has been more than just a sports facility; it has been a vital part of our community, touching lives in countless ways.

For years, the dome has been a bustling centre for a diverse range of activities. It has welcomed schools, special needs groups, and hosted blind tennis sessions, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity. Our coaching programmes, spanning local, national, and international levels, have nurtured talent and passion for tennis. The dome has also been a place of employment for many, directly impacting their livelihoods and of course lets not forget the vibrant tennis community that exists with our members.

Moreover, we have proudly been a welcoming space for refugees arriving in Castlebar, providing them with a sense of community and normalcy during challenging times. Our facility has also been instrumental in developing exceptional tennis players, many of whom have earned scholarships worldwide and went on to compete at very high levels.

Sadly, our current insurance does not cover the storm damage, leaving us in a challenging situation. We urgently need to rebuild the dome to continue serving our community and members. This is where we need your help.

We are launching a fundraising campaign to gather the resources needed to rebuild the Castlebar Tennis Club Dome. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
