Help reopen Abyssinia Market & Coffee House.

Hi, my name is Lily Damtew. I’m fundraising for my business Abyssinia Market and Coffee House. As most of you already know, The Abyssinia Coffee shop has been closed for the past 6 weeks. I apologize for my absence....

.. They have been difficult weeks for me,

especially coming on the heels of the pandemic. A shoulder injury initially made holding everything together impossible, and then a health scare complicated things more.

But now I am hopeful I am ready to reopen soon, focusing on coffee, pastries, breakfast and community with more indoor seating and outdoor seating when weather improves. Unfortunately my financial situation has suffered while the shop was closed. Six years have taken a toll on the space and the shop is long overdue for some necessary renovations/changes to improve the

"coffee experience". Also it will help us pay some unpaid bills including rent. Every contribution will help us move forward.
