Help Regan & family in their fight to BEAT cancer!
Donation protected
Recently, Regan Robson, a mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, friend and local business owner of 98 Wake 'N Shake has been diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma. Melanoma is an aggressive skin cancer that has spread from her brain, lymph nodes, lungs, and everywhere in between. Originally, doctors had estimated she had been living with her cancer for 6 months. The cancer is now past the point of a surgical solution. She has begun immunotherapy and recently started radiation. Regan is currently fighting this battle with no medical insurance and due to her worsening condition she is unable to work. Her daughter Mackenzie has some words to share about her mother.
“ My mom is my hero. She puts everyone above herself. If she isn’t feeling well, but someone has the slightest illness, she forgets about her needs and focuses on the other person. She's too independent and stubborn to ever ask for help, and that clearly rubbed off on my sister and I.
Growing up my mom always wanted to go out, sit somewhere in the sun with a bunch of sand and water, so that's what we did. Every summer for a week we would go down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It’s her happy place, being able to swim in a warm beach, get a tan, drink overly expensive beverages, and listen to music is her favorite. My mom and I share our love of music, I grew up always singing Luke Bryan and Garth Brooks with her, I still do, and she makes fun of me when I don’t remember all the lyrics.
She is my biggest supporter, and she’s the woman I will always look up to. She's taught me to be as strong as I can be, and to never give up on my goals. With how tough everything is right now, I know my mom will never give up, she's a fighter.”
By supporting Regan in her battle with Melanoma, you can help her to continue being the strong, loving, and supportive role model she's been for everyone in her life.
