Help refurbish the Holme Village Community Centre

Hi, we're the Trustees of the Holme Village Community Centre. We're raising funds to renovate a dilapidated historic building in the village of Holme, West Yorkshire into a shared community hub.

Our vision is to create a thriving, inviting and sustainable community hub that is available to all.

We've successfully raised the initial funds needed to replace the roof and to fit new windows and doors. Now that the building is weather-tight we want to focus our efforts on the interior

Any funds that we raise will help us to update the electrics, install new heating and refurbish the toilets and kitchen . . .the space doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to in a good enough condition that we can start to use it and to make an income that will support the future works that are required.

We're lucky to have a very supportive local community and despite the impact of COVID we've had lots of help from local people who have volunteered time, energy and skills. . . . there's still a lot of work to do and we'd appreciate any support you can give us.
