Help Reed Get Their Boobies Off
Donation protected
Hey there folks! My name is Reed Brice and I'm a comedian living in Los Angeles.
So, at the end of last year I let folks in on the biggest secret of my life, one I never even admitted fully to myself until a few months before that: I'm a lil' gay dude! Coming out as transgender was the most stressful but rewarding decision of my life- and now I'm ready to make the next step.
I'm getting my boobs off, y'all!
On December 14th, I'm set to have a Bilateral Double Incision Mastectomy with Inferior Pedicle Nipple Areola and that's a mouthful of words to say: "Nipples, shantay you stay. Breast tissue and excess skin..? Sashay away."
Why am I asking for the money? Well, I honestly just can't live this way anymore. To get vulnerable with you my best friends, the entirety of Online, every day that I live through my physical and social gender dysphoria is torture. My insurance will cover some of the cost, but not all of it.
Here is the basic breakdown of cost (just estimates since I'm still trying to nail down everything with my insurance):
-Surgeon: $500
-Surgery facility: $1954
-Anesthesia Fee: $1197
-Pathology: $500
Total: $4151
Again, that's a general estimate! I put it at $5k just in case, and any funds that are left over from my surgery costs will be donated to Trans Lifeline- one of the greatest resources for the trans and gender non-conforming community ever.
So help a pal out, won't ya? I appreciate you!
