Help Rebuild Mudpie after Harvey

Hello Kingwood Friends, My name is Christy Duncan and I am starting this Go Fund Me on behalf of the The Mudpie Company.  In 2003 I started The Mudpie Company and it has been serving the Kingwood Community for 14 years now.  My good friend and partner Teri Wilson and I operated the studio together for over 10 years. Teri took over ownership of the studio completely last year so that I could focus on the care of a parent along with my children.  Teri has kept Mudpie running seamlessly and it has remained a fun place for old and young to come and create. 

But in August Hurricane Harvey flooding was devastating to the studio.  The Mudpie Company had 5 feet of water and lost all tables and chairs, cabinets, computer, 2 kilns, and more than half of the 5,000-piece pottery inventory.  The studio must replace all of those items along with the air conditioning system and flooring before it can reopen.  It is a major rebuilding effort and I am still such a supporter of Mudpie, I want to see it continue to be a pillar in the Kingwood Community. 

The Mudpie Company has had the privilege to employ dozens of talented high school and college students over the years as well as our long time manager and artist, Whitney Bellaire.  Please help Teri continue to provide this learning opportunity for the young people in our community.
