Help rebuild Knights Chamber ruined by riots

Hello Friends,

Today I am asking for your support to help my friends rebuild their business that was destroyed over the weekend due to the riots and looting in Minneapolis.

Tariq Isaacson & Chris Bitzan are the owners of Knights Chamber Clothiers in the Calhoun Square Mall, a menswear store specializing in suits, ties and outerwear. This store has been a part of the Uptown community since 2014. Knights Chamber was founded in 1976 by Bitzan's father Mike, the duo purchased the company from him in 2019. For the past two years they have invested their time, savings, sweat and love to build the business and serve the community they hold dear.

The mall, like many others was recently closed due to Covid-19 and although this was itself a challenge they took advantage of the time to relocate to a new location within the mall, even adding a UV cleansing room for the suits to keep their customers safe from the virus. Construction was finally complete and they had just begun the reopening process when the riots and looting started in Minneapolis. All of their hard work & investment was destroyed in one weekend. Unfortunately, the entire mall has been severely damaged and may not be able to reopen at all.

Their families & team are currently trying to clean up the mall while making sure their customers, mostly wedding parties, have what they need for their special occasions. Their main source of income is gone and it is uncertain if anything will be covered by insurance.

Tariq & Chris are both minority business owners who love the remarkable tapestry of people who call Minneapolis home. They are amazing family focused leaders and friends who have always been there for anyone in need of help. Now it is our turn to help them.
