Help Raymond Waters Beat The Big C

Hi my name is Towanda Connor aka Nikkie and I’m stepping up to help a friend of my brothers. I’ve never met the man personally but I’ve felt compelled to share his story and help. He’s not asking for any specific denomination so I set the goal. Anything is greatly appreciated. Here’s a bit of his story:

(Oct.)Days after having the time of his life celebrating his 28th bday Buck gets real sick. He’s back at the doctors after being there a couple weeks prior for what they said was acid reflux. (No meds had worked, he lost like 80lbs that month) This time they kept him, ran tests and did blood work (which ended up taking 8hrs). They scanned his stomach finding what they thought was a 3-5in mass but after different appointments and biopsies the mass was 5-7.

Nov. 28,18 he got a call from his doctors stating he has gastric stomach cancer stage 3/4.

Dec. 14,19 was his first chemo treatment of 6. 2 a month for 3 months. Every other Thursday mostly all day. Not including the 24hr treatment he took home. April 3,19 surgery day. 10am we arrived at UVA. What they said was a 6hr surgery that was going to take out all but 30% of his stomach. 5hrs into it they gave us the bad news of having to take all of it, yes 100% of his stomach gone to gastric stomach cancer. After a week in UVA, he goes home n has to eat from a feeding tube for a month.

2020 was actually a good year, filled with healing and clear scans til the very end!

Jan 2021 Cancer came back but in his bladder. A couple weeks later he had a procedure to get the tumor out.

April 2021, The cancer came back in his bladder but bigger than the last time.

May 2021, He had a scheduled surgery to get it removed but something happened with his insurance so it had to be rescheduled. (we didn’t have thousands of dollars in 2/3 days to get the surgery.) June 16,2021 Buck went to the ER for back spasms and couldn’t keep anything down for days at a time. Only to get a call hrs later that his potassium and magnesium levels were extremely high and his blood levels are very low to where he needed a blood transfusion. His bladder could’ve ruptured if he had waited a couple days longer to see a doctor. (A catheter was inserted.) His kidneys were shutting down to the point they wanted him to do dialysis but they were too bad. Instead he had to get tubes through his back to help drain his kidneys.(they’re still in)

While he was at the ER they did scans which turned out bad. The scans shows something in his colon. He has to get another procedure done but for some reason his insurance won’t pay for it. He also has to have surgery (again) to remove cancer in his bladder.
