Help Ranger get Surgery

Donation protected
Ranger is a rescue dog who weighs about 85 pounds and is a white shepherd, yellow lab mix who's about 12 years old. I saved him from the gas chamber at the dog pound in Licking County Ohio five minutes before he was to be killed. Ranger had a fractured right elbow (probably he was hit by a car as he is afraid of them) that had never been fixed properly so it has always been crooked. He was about 2 years old when he became part of our family, and had perfect manners from Day 1. He also has been a charming companion to our many chihuahuas over the years. Nearly 3-1/2 years ago he tore his right ACL (CCL in dog speak) and it was successfully repaired. At that time my husband was alive and we could afford the surgery. Now his left CCL is completely torn and he can barely walk even with my support (which isn't great due to my own back problems, and my husband is gone and I can't afford he surgery. But, I love this gentle dog and cannot just end his life without trying to fix his knee. We have a highly competent surgeon willing to do his surgery but I need help with the cost. He will have his surgery at my clinic of 34 years, New Hope Animal Hospital in Minnesota with his doctor Randy Herman, overseeing his care. So, if you would be willing to help us out in paying for this essential care, it would mean the world to me. So many of you have helped others so I want you to know that just any amount would be appreciated. Thank you from Ranger and his mom Lynne.
