Help Raise some funds for Andy and his Family!

Hi, I’m Nathan and I am fundraising for My Mum and Step Dad (Andy)- who is currently in an Induced Coma in Bristol Southmead Hospital with ongoing and undiagnosed Neurological issues.. everything is unknown to us and we have no idea how long he will be in ICU with 1 to 1 care. The Hospital have done multiple tests and have no idea what pain or suffering my step dad is actually in. We have been told to take it day by day but we are currently nearly 2 weeks in with no diagnosis and no clue what is going to happen next…

Andy has just recently used all his savings and started his own business (self employed) and is now not able to provide for the household/family and is unlikely to be able to go back to work once out of hospital. Doctors have said that it could be a long road to recovery.. weeks, months.. maybe longer! My mum is traveling to the hospital everyday and sitting and talking with him whilst he is unresponsive, just trying to get some form of reaction from him when the sedation is low, meaning she is unable to fulfill her full time hours at her job.. just incase he wakes and needs her there!

I have 2 little brothers at home who have only been able to see their Dad for a few hours the day after he was air lifted to hospital (covid reasons do not permit them to visit!) the family are trying our best to get everything the boys need.

We have exhausted all avenues for help with keeping the bills paid to no avail, aswell as helping with fuel costs.. but as everyone knows fuel prices are ridiculous atm, with a 2 hour journey to the hospital and back with depleting funds the struggle is real!!

All I am asking for is if anyone has anything small to give just to keep the household

ticking over so that when he returns that’s just one less stress for him and my mum to deal with.

People who know my mum will know she doesn't like asking for anything EVER! She would be too proud to even think of asking for help and this is why I have decided to set this up as she would rather struggle on, But i know she needs this help more than ever.
