Help raise money for Ryan Parris’ Medical Bills

Donation protected
On May 30, 2021, Ryan Parris and his brother were at the Hermitage Walmart on Andrew Jackson Pkwy filling up the boat before heading to celebrate on OHL for Memorial Day Weekend.

While filling up, the boat sparked some fumes, causing the fire to ignite the boat. While working in the engine hatch, The fireball engulfed Ryan for a split second. At that moment — despite his burns — he jumped up and out of the boat and into the truck to pull the flames away from the gas pumps. His brother then worked to separate the trailer with the boat from the truck.

Ryan is badly burned with 1st and 2nd degree burns on his hands, arms, face, chest and legs to over 20 percent from of his body. He is currently in ICU at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He is definitely in a lot of pain and is expected to survive without the need for grafts. Recovery will take place for a while. Help will be needed in any form, as well as assistance with his lawn care company this summer since he is unable to be outside with his team.

Ryans brother was not injured and thankfully no one else was in that crowded parking lot.. Moving the burning boat away from the gas pumps kept this from becoming a considerably more serious situation. Thank you all for your help
