Help raise money for my sister after flooding.

Hi everyone,

I have created this gofundme account to help my sister Petra with the cost of replacing everything in her home, after her basement flat was flooded.

My sister and her young kids were at home, whilst the flooding happened in July. They could not get out through the front door and had to go to the garden to be rescued.

All the rooms in her home were ruined by the flooding, where the water was up to waist level. The sewage water has damaged all of her household items, therefore she has lost a wide range of items such as, furniture and electrical equipment i.e sofas, dining table, TV, fridge freezer, hoover. beds, wardrobes, chest of draws, as well as clothes, shoes, toys and sentimental items and paperwork. My sister is not working, since she had to close her online business, due to her printer and laptop being ruined by the water. Her kids are also  devastated that their toys and electrical equipment have been ruined.

My sister has been living in her basement flat for many years and now her world has been turned upside down, where she is living with our parents, because she has been made homeless, since she cannot return to live at her home. In addition to this, she did not have contents insurance, which could have helped with the cost of replacing all the items that she has lost. My sister never thought that this would happen to her, but it did, therefore this could happen to anyone. 

Any donations would be gratefully appreciated and will go towards replacing all the items that have been damaged, due to contamination from the sewage water.
