Help Quincy & Rupert recover from car accident

Donation protected
My relationship with Quincy began when she became my client, but she quickly became a friend. Many of you know Quincy because she rescued your quarantine cuticles at Holy Chic Nail Salon. Quincy is beloved by anyone who meets her, and on October 23rd, I had the privilege of photographing Quincy & Rupert's long awaited wedding day where it was truly evident how beloved they both are by their friends and family.

On the Thursday following their wedding, Quincy & Rupert were driving up 95 on their way to begin their honeymoon when they were suddenly hit by an English muffin truck who was driving recklessly. Thankfully, Rupert wasn't hurt, but Quincy was driving and broke her arm. She was rushed to the hospital and was told she had to have surgery on her wrist due to the nature of the break.

Quincy had her surgery on Monday and it went well, but she has a long recovery ahead of her and she won't be able to return to normal full work/life until at least after the end of the year, and she will have continued physical therapy to make a full recovery. They had to put a metal plate in her arm and three screws which will stay in her arm/wrist forever. They aren't able to put her hard cast on yet, but that will be her next step.

Not only do Quincy and Rupert now have a ton of new and ongoing medical bills, but Quincy's car is totaled, they missed their honeymoon trip, and now they are both dealing with lost wages and more time off needed for recovery. This is not the way anyone hopes to begin their marriage. Rupert has been able to return back to work after Quincy's surgery went well, but since Quincy needs her hands for a lot of her job, it will be a slow tip toe back in for her to go back to a normal work schedule.

If you are able, please help us help ease this sad time for Quincy & Rupert by helping contribute to the helping them financially recover while Quincy physically recovers.

If you aren't able to give, please consider still passing this along.

There are also some other ways that you could help out like dropping off a meal or snacks on their porch, or helping walk, or bathe, or play with their two dogs while Rupert is working. Quincy will also need rides places since she no longer has a car while insurance tries to get money from the driver of the truck.
