Help QPOC Female Secure Their Tattoo Studio

Hey lovely folx!

I’m Nish (@bluxion404), one of few black queer female tattoo artists based in London, UK.

 

I’m doing a fundraiser to help me secure and continue to build my new private studio space (see details at the bottom). To be more specific, the funds will help me clear some debt, set up logistics / legalities, and allow me to purchase some equipment. With this foundation set I will then also have the means to begin to plan and implement some community project ideas which I am really keen to do!

 

I would love to raise £7k!!

 

Covid has been a tough one for so many of us, especially us self employed peeps so I thank you for even reading this!! Yes!! I am alive with good health and so very grateful...

However, after having to close my studio at the beginning of UK’s first lockdown and then going to work at a tattoo shop where I experienced racial discrepancies, alongside not being able to really work for a year I have now found my self in the position of needing a little bit of help to get my space truly up and running.

 

I pride myself in being at the forefront of building a UK based black female tattoo community and would love to be able to continue to grow and develop a true safe space for queer and POC clients by helping myself and other artists.
