Fundraiser for Art 4 Kids during Pandemic

Before the Pandemic shut down schools, I was volunteering at Robert E. Lake Elementary School painting with a 2nd grade class. They are doing virtual learning from home now and I really miss doing art with the kids. Some of the kids are going to be coming back to school in March and they're not going to be able to have normal recess. The good thing about me teaching virtual from home as I can teach multiple classes at once there are 6 2nd grade classes alone and there's one third grade class I teach also. Whether they are at school struggling because they can't have recess and they have to socially distance from their friends or stuck at home they need this creative outlet for their Mental Health . Many children are struggling right now and I would really love to bring them some joy through Art. I have seen first hand how much they enjoy painting when encouraged and it is great therapy. Art supplies are expensive so please help and donate what you can to this cause.
I hope to have enough funds raised by March 1st so I can purchase art supplies and have them delivered to the kids. They will be able to use these supplies for multiple art projects between now and the end of the school year. This would mean the world to them and me!! The photo is a collection of the thank you cards they made and sent to me. Let's get together and make a difference for these kids... they need it!!
