With great sorrow and gloomy grief, today we lost the fifth rib in our family, our baby poonch didn't survive the fatal injury suffered by the neighbors' cruel dog.
This morning (10.4.23) he surrendered and passed away.
Punch, you were our son and a brother to your sisters Lia and Maya, you were the light in our hearts .
Thank you for all the amazing 11 years we experienced with you.
Your were an angel on earth and now you are the angel running on the rainbow.
You are in our hearts forever and we love you to no end.
Beloved of our hearts, we stayed here heartbroken and part of our hearts went with you.

10.3.23 Update,
Punch is still recovering from the surgery, yesterday we were at the hospital, they took x-rays, they asked us to come back tomorrow (Wednesday) in the hope that the stitches will be removed and that there will be good news,
Punch still refuses to eat and we have to feed him every two hours, this means that he is under our care 24/ 7, he must not move around too much because in addition to the surgery he is recovering from the fractures in his ribs and vertebrae in his back (miraculously he is walking).
Of course we will continue to update.

Update from Friday 9.29.2023.
Punch after a complicated surgery he had last Monday (at LeadER Cooper City),To repair tissue tears in the abdomen and chest caused by the brutal attack of the attacking dog.
Punch is very weak and still trying to recover, on Wednesday the hospital allowed us to take Punch home until next Monday.
We are close to him 24/7 and help him with feeding and support with all the complicated treatment.
We pray and hope that he recovers and gets well.
In addition to all the very difficult dealing with the injury,
The check that the owner of the attacking dog gave us (on Saturday 9.23) to cover the expenses that were until Friday 9.22
The check deposited on the same day, returned from the bank and was not paid !!!
We need help covering expenses. We guarantee that as soon as and when funds are received from the owner of the attacking dog, any amount donated here will be donated to an animal shelter, and there will be full transparency!

9:08pm 9.25.2023 update
Punch came out of surgery (at LeadER Cooper City)after being operated on in several areas of the abdominal cavity as well as in the chest. The injuries from the attacking dog are very serious.
He underwent a very complex and complicated surgery.
He is recovering and will be in the ICU again for a few days, just to recover.
Of course, thanks to everyone, I will continue to update the condition of our beloved dog.
unfortunately after the attack dog's owner said he will not go to pay the bills from this Saturday (only from this weekend is over 12000$ & total over 26000$ & is not the end. rn I have to deal with attorney...
11:33pm 9.25.2023 Update...
Punch back to the hospital, he need a surgery today, we are broken totally, after this weekend he was at home & try to recover....the hospital said he nust have surgery today.
the attack dog's owner told me not call him any more & refus to cover the additional biils !
I deposited the check he gave me to cover the biil up to 9.22.2023. As of now, the check has not yet been paid, so in the meantime this money has not yet reached our account either.
2:36pm 9.23.2023 Update...
we got back to the hospital LeadER, unfortunately Punch Throwing up all the food and medicine and the hospital wanted him back right away, we all hope he will ok.

Punch, our beloved dog, was viciously attacked by our neighbor's dog.
Despite the severity of the incident, the owner of the attacking dog has been unresponsive to our messages in the past few days.
With the clinic mounting bills, and Punch still in the ICU for the past six days we are still facing a required surgery for his recovery and not a single payment was made by the attacking dog's owner.
The owner of the attacking dog has promised to cover all expenses but has made not even a single payment to the clinic.
We have exhausted all our funds for this We are reaching out to our compassionate community for support.
Any funds raised will go directly towards Punch's medical bills. If we later receive compensation from the owner of the attacking dog, we commit to donating all the funds raised here to an animal shelter.
It's our way of giving back to the community that has shown us so much love and support during this challenging time.
