Help contribute to the cost of supplying hydro power to Tribe Cable Park
A Not-For-Profit Cable Tow Sports Facility in The Pas / OCN

Logan Moreton and Caleb Pitre are lifelong locals of The Pas / OCN. We have come together to purchase the property required for the new cable tow sports park and completed all aspects of the parks development to date.

Tribe Cable Park is a Not-For-Profit Cable Tow Sports outdoor recreation facility opening in The Pas / OCN

TCP will be the only Free To Ride cable park in the world. This means no payment will be required to enjoy the facility

Cable tow sports allow people of all ages to experience any tow sport that can be done behind a boat or snow machine I.e. water tubing, waterski, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, snow tubing, snowboarding, skiing and sliding.
Cable tow sports use a linear cable system to tow participants back and forth endlessly across the water or snow. Tribe Cable Park will make these sports available to the community in a centralized, easily accessible family friendly environment just off of highway 10 across from the recycling centre.

Tribe Cable Park started as an idea, to make the sports and activities I have enjoyed my entire life accessible to everyone. Normally it requires a number of costly factors to experience towed sports such as a boat / snow machine, fuel, a driver and spotter, a nearby lake and all the equipment (tubes, wakeboard, waterski)

This is not the case with Cable Parks!

Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to show up and participate without having to worry about the cost factors associated with these sports, similar to how the pool and arena make swimming and ice skating available to the public only without the cost of admission.

We are asking for any contribution, large or small, to help towards the cost of supplying hydro electric power to Tribe Cable Park - Tow Sports outdoor recreation facility.

Donations of $1000 or more will receive recognition of sponsorship and their name / logo on our billboards / advertisements + on site appreciation plaque

If we are able to reach our goal, we will host a free community snow tubing and sliding event this winter. We will have snow tubes available where participants can ride up to 6 people at a time on the tubes. Bring your own sleighs, sliders snowboards or anything you feel you can ride and come give it a try! We feel this is the perfect way to showcase what our system is capable of and get the community excited for the coming summer season.

The past two years have brought many important developments for the park consisting of:

  • Sourcing a suitable location for the park
  • Site planning
  • Surveying the property
  • Purchasing property for the site
  • Purchasing a large shipping container that will be used for the home base
  • Concrete foundation work for the cable towers
  • Landscaping (gravel, dirt, etc)
  • Purchase of Konex Sentry Series premium overhead Cable System
  • Installed Konex Sentry Series Cable system (September 3/2021)
  • Secured permit for outdoor recreation facility
In a time of such uncertainty, our community needs more new, exciting all inclusive activities for our youth that can be enjoyed at no cost in a safe and welcoming outdoor environment

Let’s make The Pas / OCN home to the worlds first Free to Ride Cable Park and the only Cable Tow Sports Facility in Manitoba!
