Help Peter and Jeanette get a Van to live in.

Hi, my name is Jasper, and I’m trying to raise funds to help my good friends, Peter and Jeanette McDonald, get a Van, and convert it into a camper van for them to live and sleep in.

With the current housing and rental crisis (rising cost of rent and lack of availability), it’s becoming difficult to find an affordable unit or even a room for rent these days. Sadly, there are too many room for rent scams out there, which also adds to the difficulty of finding a safe place to live.

Currently, the only safe place to stay for Peter and Jeanette is the camping grounds, due to having great facilities and site managers. While living in a tent is a good option, it doesn’t hold up to most weather conditions, such as rain and freezing weather conditions.

This is where a van or camper van has the advantage!

- Better protection from weather conditions

- Provides a safer and secure place to live in

- It’s mobile and can go anywhere

- Provides independence and ownership

- More space than a standard car

This fundraising aims to help raise funds to get Peter and Jeanette a Toyota Hi-Ace (affordable and durable), in good condition (so you don’t spend tons of money fixing it!) and convert it into a camper van.
