Want to join Me in making a DIFFERENCE? Want to IMPACT Children's Lives? I'm raising money to benefit Pearl Smart School, and any donation will help make an IMPACT.

This GoFundMe campaign, in addition to other fund sources, will allow Pearl SMART School to open its 1st full year Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Preschool, post Covid-19 pandemic. This Campaign will guarantee Pearl SMART School will be able to transition from a 2-month Summer STEM and Reading camp, to a full year Preschool. We will use the $100,000 to secure our location, provide transportation, and offer Tuition Free Preschool to underserved children in Detroit, MI.

Pearl SMART School (Science, Mathematics, Art, Reading, Technology) was created in 2016 as a summer STEM Camp, in Detroit, MI. It was a great Success! The following summer, our STEM Camp evolved into a SMART Camp, to include Reading. Pearl SMART School has been Serving the Detroit community for over 5 years, and has Impacted over 400 children since its conception. Our Mission is to Inspire and Educate the Next Generation of STEM Leaders.  We partner with schools, libraries, nonprofits, and recreation centers, to offer Reading and STEM education, but it has come time for US to have Our Own location. Opening a full year program will allow US to IMPACT even MORE Lives.

Last year 2020, while planning the final stages to open Pearl SMART Preschool, we tragically loss 2 of Our Founding members, Hazel Walker and Danielle Walker. Instead of allowing Pearl SMART School to close for good, the remaining member decided to Re-open Pearl SMART School, Fall 2021, to honor Hazel's and Danielle's Memory. Only with YOUR Support, can WE truly make THIS Happen.
