Help pay for medical and final expanses

On October 12, at 12:45pm Christy passed away peacefully with her beloved family around her, it was swift and peaceful.

During the Covid-19 outbreak in Houston, TX, Christy was taken to Oakbend Medical Hospital for heart issues and shortly was told she had a mass on her Chest Wall with no explanation. It was at Memorial Herrman Hospital in Sugarland, TX that we found out how far the cancer went. Not only had my mother gotten Covid-Delta, she had stage 4-end Lung and Heart Cancer. The business of getting her into chemo and radiation was slow, and even then the doctors weren't sure of how to save my mothers life. So we applied to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston; and were told it would take 21 days for them to see my mother at the hospital. That call was 10 days ago now as I write this.

In the face of all the stress and worry, my mother stayed strong and fierce until the end, just as she was in life, bright and vibrant; loud and outgoing. She was always on the move, even in her walker.. Two steps ahead and always pushing herself to get better. She spent her time talking to friends and family, reading, and doing her exercises so she could go to the Christmas lights with us. I often joked that we could decorate her walker for the holidays, and she had so many ideas before going back to the hospital on October 6th, 2021. My mother was independent, fierce, kind, and brave. She stood up for her beliefs and never backed down, even at the end.

The funds raised here will go towards my mothers last medical bills and burial expenses.
