Help Paul Win his battle against Cancer

Paul has a rare form of thyroid cancer. It doesn't respond well to conventional
treatments, so the number one treatment is surgery. We're working closely with
Cancer Care, but their method is to check the blood markers, scan the body, and cut
out any new growths.
After his first surgery, his blood markers were incredibly high - showing that
cancer had spread. Since then, we have done 3 rounds of IV Treatments - each is 18
treatments over 6 weeks. Although they're expensive and a considerable investment of time, we feel they've bolstered Paul's health and energy. Blood tests also show that the blood markers haven't been going up, so we'd like to continue those treatments.
Recently we found an aggressive new growth - another surgery is on the horizon. In
addition to surgery, we found a new diagnostic treatment popular in Sweden. It isn't
covered by Canada Health but should give us a clearer view of Paul's actual
condition. It's also able to culture some cancer cells and help us see which
treatment options are more effective. It's $8000 plus travel.
As you know, we've been fighting this battle with prayer, medical care, diet,
exercise, supplements, lifestyle, pharmaceuticals, and natural therapies. We'd love
to increase efforts on every front.
To that end, we've started a course with a ministry in Georgia. They specialize in
the spiritual aspects of the healing journey and are very Biblical - friends paid to
take that course. We also have a Christian counselor working with Paul. Paul is
going through the Bible again and is currently in the book of Matthew. We're trying
to add more people to our prayer army, which is over 400 people now.
We have a great team of doctors at Cancer Care. We also are working with 4
naturopaths, including 2 that specializes in cancer. These two cancer specialists
have new treatment options available. They're not covered by Manitoba Health yet,
but they're popular in Europe. We feel God is calling us to pursue them. The expense
for these treatments and our next two rounds of IV Therapy is around $30,000. It's
obviously a number beyond our means, so we're trusting in God to provide. We're
launching a course to raise money so we could be helping people at the same time,
but people have asked us to start a GoFundMe.

This journey, although difficult, is not without its blessings. We've been able to
talk to a LOT of health professionals about Jesus. We've shared the gospel, handed
out Bibles, and seen God do amazing things. Paul has mentioned that he's okay with
this journey if God is being glorified and people are coming to know Jesus. After
all, we've always been a family with two goals - to KNOW JESUS and MAKE HIM KNOWN.
We're thankful, we're hopeful, we're exhausted, but we're trusting in God.
